CARE & USE INFORMATION
Stevens designs and develops quality cookware that is highly functional for everyday use. By following the Care & Use information below, you will enhance your user experience and prolong the life of your cookware.
Before use, remove all packaging and hand wash in warm soapy water. Stevens TITAN range is oven-safe and suitable for all cooktops, including induction, gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen. When using it on a cooktop, it is recommended that you use a low to medium heat setting. Use of excessively high heat will cause the cookware to overheat and potentially damage the non-stick cooking surface.
For best results, ensure that the heat source does not exceed the base diameter of the cookware piece in use. To protect the interior Quick Release non-stick surface, only use wood, nylon, or silicone utensils. DO NOT use metal objects or cut on the non-stick surface as this will cause irreparable damage.
DO NOT leave cookware empty on the heat source or leave it unattended for any period of time. DO NOT use spray oils on the non-stick surface as the fine residue will burn onto the non-stick surface affecting the non-stick performance and food release.
The Stevens TITAN cookware range is dishwasher safe, including glass lids, however, to prolong the non-stick performance, we recommend hand washing with a mild detergent and nylon scourer. DO NOT use metal or harsh scourers as this can damage the non-stick surface. DO NOT immerse hot cookware directly into cold water as this can permanently damage the non-stick surface.
WARNING: To ensure that all Stevens TITAN cookware is oven-safe, all handles are made using heavy-duty stainless steel. All handles will get hot if left on your cooktop for an extended period of time, or when placed in the oven. We strongly recommend using an oven mitt, protective handle grip, pot holder or tea towel when handling cookware during use and prior to cooling.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What cooking surfaces can I use Stevens Titan on?
Stevens Titan can be used on all cooktops including induction, gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen.
Can I use Stevens Titan cookware in the oven?
Yes, Stevens Titan Cookware with the full stainless steel coating is oven safe up to 240 degrees celsius. Clear view glass lids are oven safe up to 180 degrees celsius. The Stevens Titan range combines highly conductive aluminium, a full stainless steel induction base, quality cast stainless steel handles and heat tempered glass lids on selected items to ensure that Titan cookware is perfect for stove top cooking and oven use.
How do I make Stevens Titan full stainless steel cookware non-stick?
We offer two finishes in the Stevens Titan cookware: one fully stainless steel and one with a non-stick coating.
To make the the full stainless steel cookware non-stick, gently heat on a low to medium heat for about 5 minutes. Put a drop of water into your pan to check if it is hot enough: if the drop retains its shape and moves around the surface of the pan, the pan is hot enough and you can now add a teaspoon of oil and start cooking. If the drop steams up and disappears, the pan is not hot enough. Wait a few minutes longer and try again.
We recommend cooking on low to medium temperatures for non-stick results. Stainless steel cookware retains its heat very well so cooking at high temperatures will cause your food to easily stick to the pan and burn.
What is the best temperature to use when cooking with Stevens Titan?
We recommend using a low to medium heat. Regular use at high temperatures can damage the interior and exterior surface of your cookware and affect the non-stick properties of your cookware.
